Yet again, GameStop are being handed a class-action lawsuit relating to misleading consumers into buying used games that do not come with everything advertised. Are companies like Electronic Arts going too far with their Online Multipass?

i hate EA so much now i really liked battlefield bad co 2 the bf3 beta sucked sooo bad i rented 3 to try b4 i buy ummmm no multiplayer need a code bullshit and for the last 3 weeks you cant even hardly play bbc2 i called EA and their representative told me well we have a new game so were focusing our servers and attention mostly on that bullshit im done with EA btw its just greed good video

@oEXTRA ya but in order to trade in a game its has to of been bought new at some point so the developers have already made there profit from that game. its now second hand why should the developer make there money twice just cause its been sold again. they have sold it its no longer there's. It's yours and if you want you could just cut out game stop an sell it on your own and make all the money for your self. game stop is just a middle man you don't need them they just make it easy.

You know what I find stupid? Developers/Publishers bitch and moan about GameStop and the used business being a leech to the game industry and yet they're always supporting GameStop with either the best pre-order DLC or ONLY pre-order DLC. If business B is hurting business A, they why would business A support business B? Doesn't make sense.

Also Dev/Publishers should focus on rewarding those who buy new instead of cracking down on gamers who choose to do their business elsewhere.

@siekiersk Since game stop is huge, hundreds of thousands to MILLIONS of used copies of a game will be sold within its launch window. This is a huge problem because that's the time when the game is mainly selling and if that many people are buying used the devs lose a rediculous amount of money to Game stop. Money that couldve been used towards making another great game. If gamestop waited for a few months to take the trade-ins or to sell them it would be all good but theyre not.

GREEDY bastards want more money. no other industry in the world tries to make money off something they have all ready sold car company's don't tell used cars dealerships that there losing money cause people are buying used cars. that car company has all ready sold that car and made its profit. what about eBay and Craigslist lets shut them down to right, if you want something go buy it new so the manufacturer can get payed right. no cause those used products have all ready been pay for too.
