well as a british - asian , ialso know a similar remedy of making quite the same thing , asian loves spice in there food. so we dont put no eggs to make the patatoe , with curriander,green chillis,papkira, and crshed chiili powder,jeera, and all oher spice chiliis and then fry the patatoes. and there like spiecey scollaps..
