Bmw will probably put a lot of restrictions onto the ecu so it wouldn't be easy to do.
the 325 does redline slightly lower than the 330, but only by 500rpm. u'd prob only achieve about 240-250bhp with a bit of tunning. aftermarket stuff. chip, filter and exhaust.
bmw now do performance up grades for ur car air filter and exhaust. but that won't give u much
@montesa21 Not here in central america, 525i has the 2.5L

I got a 325i in Germany (December 2009) with brand new 218 horsepower and 320 torque
I tested several times and out between 6.6 and 6.8 seconds
e93 is a convertible. I for one like gasoline is more nervous and sport is ful of features and cost me around 42.000 EUR

early 2007 325i models did use a 2.5l, but after sept 2007 the engine was replaced with the 3.0l

I have just bought the e92 325i
Is there anyway to "re-tune" the "de-tuned" 3 litre engine to say, get it to the performance of a 330 e92.
