Sante is learning to do stomach crunches. We have done no targeting or luring to start this new set of exercises. What he has accomplished so far has evolved via micro-shaping. We have only been doing crunches for about 2 weeks, a total of 6-8 sessions. Each time we practice he offers me more. We are working on crunches with his head up, and with his head down. With his head down our goal is to increase the bend in his neck a Sante will do these exercises for long stretches of time. The more we do them the more relaxed he becomes. The relaxation carries over into any thing we chose to do afterward: riding, longeing, free jumping, his relaxed state continues.
Fantastic!! Lovely to watch. Somebody should try to persuade all those people who are forcing horses to hyper extend their necks to try this approach!

That's cool to see what just pure patience and timing can accomplish in stages. I'm always curious about what I call "pure" clicker vs people incorporating clicker onto pressure/release and other methods. Neat to see true "pure clicker" with a horse. Please show your progress. Thanks.
