This march is a favourite in Britain too - often used by the British Army.since the 19th century.

Forgotten Hope 2 FTW

YES....thanks for a version WITHOUT all the clapping which obscures part of the music. I listen to music to HEAR it, not a bunch of people clapping.
-
superb version. danke schoen. Far superior to karajan.
-
@joannes71 Allright then.

@joannes71 Italian relationship with the Prussians was good. In 1866, Italy and Prussia joined forces against Austria. And in 1882, Italy, Austria and Germany formed the Triple Alliance. Nizza, Savoia, Tunisia, Corsica were not held by Germanic peoples.
-
@orel753 I must say that it is very difficult to communicate on the same cultural level, when the other side are not exposed thesis but excuses. I will give away so this sterile discussion
-
@joannes71 Another quotation of Wikipedia (Haynau): "The mob of Brescia had massacred invalid Austrian soldiers in the hospital, a provocation which led to reprisals." And (Papal Zouaves) "Several Zouaves were executed or murdered by the Italian forces following the surrender, including a Belgian officer who refused to give up his sword"
Radecký was persecuting Italian patriots, because they have rebelled.

@orel753 Add, finally, that the criminal policy being implemented by Radetsky, as well as deeply hurting the people of Lombardy and Veneto, has carved a groove made of distrust and hatred of the Germanic peoples, which made it difficult for the Italians relationships with these people
-
@orel753 As for the title of the murderess, who fully deserves Radetsky, you probably do not recognize him because you are not murderess was not Italian and your people to suffer: murder, torture, imprisonment and confiscation.
