The ballads are singing about the Gurjar Bagaravat going to the Ran-nagar to take the rani jaimati with them.

The title translates in english as "The Gurjars warriors (Bagravats) are going to the Ran-nagar with great anger"

''Bagarvat Mahabharat-Shri Devnarayan Bhagwan Ki katha'' is a famous Rajasthani epic .It is full with Valor, Bravery, Sacrifie, Love and great tradition of Gurjars of Rajasthan (Ancient Gurjar-dhara) .

Lord Devnarayan incarnated in Vikram Samvat 968 as son of Saadu Maata Gurjari and Shri Sawai Bhoj Bagaravat (one of the 24 brave Gurjar brothers collectively known as Bagaravats ).Ancient Gurjars ruled many kingdoms in north India.prior to the Mughal advance in India, Majority part of modern day Gujarat, sindh and Rajasthan were known as Gurjar-desh or Gurjar-dhara or Gurjara-tra (country ruled or protected by the Gurjars).Gujarat (or Gurjaratra that is Country ruled of protected by Gurjars) survived its old name.
