Brad Gaither Is On Lead Vocals

Damon was the lead guitar player for the Headline Band back in the 1980's in Guntersville, AL. The band held a reunion and all members of the original Headline Band attended including Pat Upton the co-owner of PJ's Alley where the band performed back in the 1980's. Pat was the lead singer.

Pat & His band - The Spiral Staircase became popular back in the late 1960's with their hit song "I Love You More Today Than Yesterday".

Pat wrote the song and to this day the song still receives regular radio air play across the United States and many other parts of the world.

Members Of The Headline Band Are As Follows:
Pat Upton - Lead Vocals
Damon Johnson - Lead Guitar
Gene ( Geno ) Pledger - Drums
Mark Thompson - Rhythm / Lead Guitar
Brad Gaither - Bass Guitar
Tim Hammond - Keyboards

Most all the of band members took to the microphone vocally on one song or the other during their stint at PJ's Alley.
