  • @magicalray93 Exactly. The attitudes we're so eager to criticize in religious people can easily be found outside of that demographic.

But it's hard to relinquish our need to be right in order to truly support truth beyond ourselves.

The ego wouldn't let us do this. He'd want us to believe that we can have definite answers to life, either through religion or through our lack of it.

It's hard to keep it under control.

  • @psygenesys EDIT: i AM against religion

  • I am not against religion BUT I do beleive in a GOD.

Let me tell you something Sepparatist Squares. I took 5 grams of psilocybin and I asked myself: ''Is there a God'' ? Then, I looked at this reality and the very fact that empty space EXISTS is a MIRACLE plus on top of that theres matter AND life and life is too beautiful to have been an accident. I do not beleive in a God that intervenes in peoples lives because thats REAL FREE WILL. I dont think your infantile psyche can comprehend the wonder

  • @Ebvardh "To be against religion is not to have transcended it" Alan Watts

  • @Ebvardh Completely agree

  • i think i'm actually in love with Richard Dawkins! :) <3

  • They cut off the introduction,

Dawkins comes through the door, smoke machine pumping and laser lights and he's singing "oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, oops i did it again..."

  • Evolution hasn't been kind to his "chicken" legs.

  • I don't want to criticize religion, Mr. Dawkins. It has been sufficiently determined that magical belief has no merit, besides personal ones.

I want to asses belief, deconstruct it and understand it, and if possible, dissuade those affected by it.

I'm an atheist, but I disagree with the primitive way of thinking that you adopted here. A way which many (not all) new atheists use to satisfy their feeble egos by ridiculing simpleton theists.

As if rubbing an argument in someone's face did anything.

  • what the hell were you thinking, Richard hahahaha!!!!
