Sims 3 Error Code 12-Getting Rid of it

Hey, Amber here telling you how to get rid of your pesky error code 12 (at least for a little while). Error code 12 has been occurring a lot more since the release of Generations back in May and it's been getting on so many simmers nerves (INCLUDING ME!!). @RastaEmpress1 Sorry to hear. I guess it doesn't work for everyone, try restarting your comp[uter and THEN doing this.

@RastaEmpress1 Everytime you get error code 12, shut down your game, restart your computer, do this method, then open sims back up.

you can also remove the Bad files on the Save files. . :)

I have this problem all the time and am going to try your solution. I just had a quick question, though- you said that the memories system takes up computer memory that you would otherwise use to save your gave, and that removing the files from the EA folder "gives the files a breather". What exactly is happening there? Are the files still being accessed by the game and taking up memory, which is freed up when you delete them? Please let me know so I can pass the knowledge on to others.
