My Tele with neck and bridge humbucker and strat middle pup. Both buckers are splitable and the strat pup is on a mini on off toggle.

Played through a Fender Blues Junior, Boss OD-3 to start and then Boss DS-1.

Didn't split the coils in this vid but demonstrated the strat pup with mini toggle.

this sounds really nice. i'm actually looking to customize a tele for my next guitar. i'm kinda looking to have a bridge humbucker, something to throw some distortion on, but keep the nice twang of the tele single coil neck pickup. do you have any recommendations as to the types of pickups to throw in and/or what model tele to do this to (mexi i was thinking. i have a mexi strat and it kicks ass) thanks man. great video.

I am using all GFS pickups in this tele. The bridge humbucker is a GFS Lil Puncher XL 15k. I Cann split it and make it single coil and it sounds really good as a single also.

One thing to consider is what value pots you will use. I recommend at least 500k pots for humbuckers. I use a 1meg tone pot and a 500k push/pull volume pot in this guitar. Just have to roll the tone back when the pickups are split.
