Over the past year Thomas Gold has taken the electronic music scene by storm. Nominated as one of Beatport's 'Rising Stars of 2010', Thomas has certainly lived up to this billing with a string of huge remixes and top notch productions seeing support from the likes of David Guetta, Pete Tong and Axwell. Following his Beatport chart topping 'The Button' on Toolroom, Thomas Gold returns with 'Kananga / Work That', a release for the true tech heads out there.
'Work That' takes you deeper underground on a seriously tough techno tip. Bullish beats and punchy percussion work their way towards a series of breakdowns each increasing the tension. The final breakdown slows the tempo before picking you up by the scruff of the neck, shaking you senseless and dropping you into a mash-up of hi-octane synths and sirens.
