  • Why does the man on the arcade machine look like Tom Berenger? ha

  • @TurdFergusonJunior Berenger? hmmmm I always thought more of a Don Johnson clone.

  • Nice cabinet!

  • @ArcadeGames Thanks, the cabinet is in pretty good shape considering it's age.

  • @ArcadeGames Hey thanks. I try to keep it clean.

  • Great video. A love to play Spy Hunter on my C64.

  • Too bad there's no way to beat this game.

  • @MAMECADE your channel is my favorite channel on youtube because i love arcade games :D

  • Hi,

    I loved the video.

I have a sit down version in my garage.

If you are ever really stuck for spares contact me and I may possibly be able to help.

    Cheers,

    Ian

  • @qbertaddict1 I am modifying a Guncon 2 was going do a guncon 1 but it would take a lot more carving of the plastic even though I prefer the look of the guncon 1. I don't have enough computer to run Fzero GX fullspeed and on my system its unstable to say the least crashes a lot. So I am going put that off for a few years till I have a computer emulator combo that works better.

  • @AxiomofDiscord If you are looking to get a lightgun going on your mame cab let me know I know of a place that mods old sega guns for use in mame cabs. Im doing a video of it now but wont release it until I release my lighted control panel video. Speaking of F-zero gx I just did a video of it tonight. Its running on the dolphin emu at full speed. You could mount a wheel in a cockpit cabinet and map the controls from within dolphin or any other emu that you want. Make it a dedicated racing cab!

  • @qbertaddict1 Sounds kinda like my eventual plans. I got a lot lot more to do first though currently working on a lightgun .... my biggest dream is to play FZERO GX with something more cockpit like than a gamecube controller.... Maybe in time.

  • @AxiomofDiscord I agree with you. I use a momo racing wheel that has 4 buttons on the wheel and a gear shift on the side. It also has a separate break and gas pedal setup making it a pretty close to original setup.

  • Wow. Great review. Thanks for the vid!

  • Awesome review i loved this game so much but i remember it being really hard to play was that because i was only a kid? and the machine they had in the arcade was the sit in version the sound was amazing.... Please do a part 2

  • Seeing those arcade machines makes me wish that i was born before the 80's cause most of those games look way more awesome then some games they bring out today.
