  • We can feel a kind of sadness in MIB's voice, it's very interesting

  • I can't wait for "across the sea"..we'll finally get to see the monster's backstory

  • @animeguardianxx It's heavily implied that the light is the source of the afterlife that the group experiences in the flash sideways universe, and that without it, there would be no afterlife. Assuming that is the case, the man in black leaving the island by putting out the light, while not necessarily making him evil, still would have done unspeakable damage to the essence of life and death. That's the one good thing about LOST - there can be countless theories and differing points of view.

  • Although the mib was the smoke monster and is dangerous, i always felt he was a very misunderstood character. As a human all he wanted to was to see the outside world. He's not really evil imo

  • kate looked like she didnt even know he was the smoke monster

  • i think mib was about to cry

  • @animeguardianxx If Jacob is evil and MiB is the good guy then explain the conversation between them in the season 5 finale. Maybe you can explain why Jacob never killed anyone (except MiB) whilst MiB killed literally millions of people.

  • @animeguardianxx Jacob brought the people to the Island but he didn't "pluck any of" them "out of a happy existence". MiB spent over 2,000 years killing pretty much everyone that managed to survive on the Island except for when Jacob (and later Alpert) intervened which, admittedly, wasn't very often. Just think about how many people that is. The Ancient Egyptians alone would constantly be hundreds of thousands - with new generations replacing the dead - for decades.

  • @animeguardianxx Watch 'Sundown' and listen to what Dogen tells Jack. 'The Sickness' was real just look at Claire, Sayid and the French team. Jacob was trying to prove that Humans are good and don't just "fight" "destroy" and "corrupt".

  • I loved season 6.

  • @M4ttM3224 Ok first off, killing the infected never is shown to cure the disease, epecially since the dead roam the island freely. The sickness was all in their heads, if they had not been so stressed by being on the island aagainst their wll, they wouldn't have been sick. That means that Jacob was at fault since he brought the people to the island in the first place.

  • @Fapaneses and jack had a son. Happier lives. We don't know that ending the light would have done anything at all, the earthquake is only shown on the island and Jacob's fake mother was a known liar, so she could have been lying about that light easily. We also see no proof that MIB was evil either, only the victim. Therefore, Jacob was the villain for punishing the victim and trying to manipulate people
