I never understiid why lambchop was drafted because she's a girl. Could women be drafted back then?

@eliville10 In the 1950's & 1960's the U.S. had a peace time draft. Every 18 year old male was liable to serve two years in army whether or not there was a war going on. Nixon ended this in the 1970's and went to an all volunteer army.
