1. Put TE (A) on out route
2. Block RB (LB)
The first part of the mini scheme features a great play verse man coverage. The idea behind the scheme is to camouflage your plays as best as possible. In each play, motion the outside right WR to the sidelines. In this play, he happens to be our first read and will be open every time vs man coverage unless they manually cover the snap throw. Once they start focusing on that, the drag route over the middle is very unique because it stops. Pass lead to the inside and that is an extremely easy 10 yard gain. Finally, the out route to the TE is a great, quick hitting play if your opponent cheats on the first two reads.
