Man here in Hawaii opening of dove season is a murder hole. we fill our 25- bag limit easily.

man in indy it was great! i went squirrel huntin that mornin (couldnt hunt till noon) and from noon to 3 we had ppl on both sides of us on the dove field but it was frikin hot so they left at around 3 and we started to get more shots me and my buddy both kilt our limit. had a lil bit of a broose on my shoulder lol

haha congrats man. In my opinion, there is nothing better than a day of good hunting.
Did you get a chance to watch my dove video from this year? It's about 1000 times better than this one with tons of kill shots and gun cam.

I dont think legally, but I've certainly shot my share of backyard doves to eat.
Aparently in some states there isnt a dove season. The iowa guys come down to missouri for opening weekend for example since you cant hunt them up there.
