Of course Vallee was an intended patsy in Chicago, in the same plot which succeeded in Dallas. But the locals in Chicago were alerted to Vallee before JFK could be killed there.

So the plan was moved to Miami, and then Texas.

All of this is exactly so but reflexes ought not have been the deciding factor at Dallas. Many of the God damn windows surrounding the kill zone were wide open on all sides of the streets, so any 1 agent in any of the several vehicles in the motorcade ought to have allerted and the presidential limmo should have never come anywhere near the plaza.

you are calling them incidents. president are threatened all the time. the chicago motorcade was cancelled because diem was killed. Simple as that. the tampa motorcade was not cancelled.
