Pheew this is a relief, but if I start hearing about peak geothermal heat I'm gonna be pretty pissed off.

"42- 80 F" at 0:32 is a lie. Places that require heat are generally in regions where the ambient ground temperature only reaches 50F. That cold antifreeze entering the home needs to be evaporated , then compressed in order to create heat. These systems run electric circulation pumps, electric compressors and you still need a heat distribution system ( underfloor requires another electric pump, warm air ducts require an electric fan) . The savings are not as much as they want you to believe.

Does anyone know if I have a 260ft deep water well can it be used alone or would I hve to have another one in order to use it for geothermal cooling?
