I think Bill went through what a lot of intellectual people went through: People just aren't ready to hear the truth so they get mad in retaliation. It's as simple as that. Every cultural breakthrough in the history of the world has been met with resistance from the status-quo-loving people you see? It's that that frustrates him... In Bill's eyes he's telling them the truth (And he IS), but the audience just thinks it's some guy talking shit, like he says in the interview.
