They're in ear monitors. When you're onstage there are monitors onstage to help the musicians hear themselves while playing. There are usually speakers on the floor that face the musicians onstage. These are headphones to help them hear each other. They can turn each individual instrument up or down in their headphones to their own liking.

@someoneud1dntno They are "in ear monitors" they are like earphones so he can hear the band and his voice during the show. Musicians are starting to use these instead of or in addition to monitor speakers on the stage in front of them.

@someoneud1dntno Hi,
From what I heard, its used so he can hear himself throughout his performances (while he sings) to be sure he sounds okay and things like that.
(Note: If I'm wrong, anyone, feel free to correct me as I'm not sure either.)
