Ray Charles channels a demon!

I love Ray Charles, don't get me wrong, and I think 'Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music' is a stone classic. But this cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire"' sounds pretty middle-of-the-road. Charles had been doing R&B covers of old country songs for a dozen years when this aired on the Flip Wilson Show. It's a nice cover. Sooooo.....at the very end, things get weird. Minute 2:20 has Charles singing the final lines of the chorus in his usual, friendly/gruff voice. You can hear his joy in this, and maybe a little pride in finishing the piece.

And then! At minute 2:36, listen - The voice of the demon that's possessed him comes out. Really, jump ahead if you don't have the patience to listen all the way through!
