It is a shame how this book is reviewed. The book reviewer did not once use the most important word in context with this book: Progressivism. Philip Dru is a manuscript alright. It's a manuscript for subversion written from a progressive ideological standpoint, for progressive ideologues. Modern Progressives have become much more advanced in the century since Dru was written, but to talk about it as if it's conspiratorial and nothing more doesn't give proper credit where it's due.
I found my self enthralled with Dru's ideology, General Dru's bravery, and Administrator Dru's efficiency. I will say that everything came off so, well, so right. The problem, I think, is that Dru was portrayed as a flawless human being. He was incapable of greed, lust for power, or hunger for control. Instead he operated in the earnest mindset of equality for the races, sexes, and classes. Unfortunately, we know that is never the case. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutly.
