  • would you recommend this? i want to get it over the griptilian, the only think im thinking about is that the grip has 154cm, and this 440c. any thoughts? thxs

  • @cschmiedlechner ...I gotta say I still like this knife especially the handle. It's a great knife and the 440C has kept it's edge. Yes I'd recommend it!

Whether you pick this or a Griptilian is going to come down to personal preference.

  • I got the auto version....sweet knife

  • COOL...I like the purple scaled one nutnfancy has...

  • Like all Benchmade knives pretty sharp...can't say it shaves hair because I didn't try and it's not my thing.

    Yeah I think $60.00 is a good price...MSRP is $100.00.

  • how sharp was this out of the box??? is $60 a good buy for it???

  • Benchmade has all kinds of good knives in all kinds of different styles. I'd narrow down what kind of knife you want then find a Benchmade to match. The Rukus and the Griptillian are two very good knives but are very different and excel at very different tasks. I love them both though.

  • You could even say that same thing about just the benchmade knives by themselves. That company does do a great job of making a veriety of different folders for different people for different purposes. So, you have to give Benchmade their props.

  • thanks Paul...Benchmade 710 McHenry & Williams is one of my favorites and a good tactical folder.

Griptilians, Osbournes, Rukus, etc...lots of could choices...J.T.
