Shmee150 films the frighteningly fast new Hennessey Venom GT. Based on the Lotus Exige, 5 of the cars are being built and contain a supercharged 6.2l V8 engine with a total of 725hp although there are also 1000hp and 1200hp twin turbo options available! The car has a top speed around 275mph and costs around £850,000 for the top model.

Camera: Shot on a Sony CX520 in FullHD and uploaded in 1080p

Location: Goodwood, UK

  • @petrolhead229 when it comes to this kind of money, who cares if you spend 400, 600, or a cool million, it's all being spent by the same type of person. This would be the one to have simply because of its absurdity. ;)

  • @wrenhour Not sure I agree, I know people who would spend £400k on a car but wouldn't go near spending £1m on one!

  • Well its ok...but i would still prfer a koenigsegg agera r if would go for power.

  • @lblackneon I have a hard time believing anyone could put 1200 hp to the pavement the way this thing does. It's handcrafted with tons of work done to the body. There's only 10% of the exige left on this thing and I think it was a great idea for them to spend more time on the task at hand by using some existing interior, etc. Your last sentence is simply not true. Hmm.

  • I would just take several slower supercars. The speed of this thing will be nigh on completely inaccessible and the acceleration would get you far too many speeding tickets. It's still a fascinating project and a brilliant piece of engineering but I don't think any one car is worth that huge amount of money.

  • 2 words. ABSOLUTE ANIMAL!!!!
