I've never hard this version Ron . I think the intro is kinda neat . I can't remember who sings the other version but I do like it better. Sounds like a great album though . :o)

I agree that the intro is long. Nearly all the artists that recorded this song had long intros, except for one who wrote the original score .. Burt Bacharach.

Remember this being a big hit for Billy J Kramer, but never heard it by the Box Tops, its a great number and they do it well, thanks for posting, good to hear versions you havent heard before.
