I think it's really funny how everyone thinks hairstyles like this are "ghetto" simply because they are associated with Black hairstylist. But no one notices the fact that all of high end and European designers who claim to get inspiration from the "streets" then throw something very similar to this on prodominantly white models and call it Haute Catoure. Then, it's not ghetto, it's fashion. *shakes head*

I'm a hairstylist in a predominantly white state/city. There are only 6% blacks here and you don't see styles like this. Despite that, I think this is beautiful. I don't think this is ghetto at all. And just to clarify- ghetto means a group of people of the same financial and social class and of the same race in a neigborhood/community. So that means the rich and white in Beverly hills live in a ghetto :) Ghetto does not equal black. If someone acts "ghetto" it is not a black thang. Go head on!
