This is a tribute video in loving memory of my sheltie, Pudding, who was too suddenly taken away at the age of 4 after losing her long time battle against seizures on August 12, 2010.

Her last count was up to 21 before she even reached the vet, where she had countless more despite the Valium and other interventions as they were not working. She was left with permanent brain/head damage and broken ribs all because her seizures could not be controlled even after consulting two different vets during her lifetime. We had to decide to let her go because her way of living would not be living at all, she'd only be thrown back into a more worse condition few weeks down the road. August 12 was traumatizing enough, both for Pudding and our family, it was definitely really bad and we all knew something was terribly different that day.

May she finally RIP pain-free with the other dogs across the Rainbow Bridge. You had your whole life infront of you but it was taken all away... You'll be dearly missed Pudding. You were the best dog and best friend anyone could have ever asked for. Miss you.

  • @12345648261 Thank you for your condolescences Janine, this week has been the mark of her first death anniversary... definitely still miss her very very much. It will always be hard, but time has indeed made it just a little bit easier. Just a little... While I pray for Pudding this week, I shall also pray for your sheltie as well <3,

    Michelle

  • Your sweet Pudding was just as cute as our Sammy was. We had to give her up to a sheltie rescue service in order to move to a "No Pets Allowed" apartment. My sister cried for weeks after that. Thanks for sharing.

  • @DeffLeopard So sorry your familial circumstances had to change to a no pets allowed building... I can`t imagine how hard it was to leave your loved one behind. I only hope your sister has found some peace and that Sammy has found a loving forever home. <3

  • I lost my sheltie on 9th January. She was only 1, we put her down because she got off her lead and was hit by a car. I loved her so much, she didn't even last a year with us

  • @420Guitar420 i lost my sheltie on october 3rd he didnt even last a month after his birthday :(

  • my sisters dog was a chihuahua/mini pin mix and she died also in november from seizures, two months later, this past monday, jan 23, 2012, my pomchi sparky died from complications of bowel problems, we both lost our loved little faithful pets so close together, i have to wonder....my heart is broken forever....

  • I have 2 dogs... I wish dogs lived longer than they do :(

  • I'm so sorry for your loss, but thank you for posting this. My sheltie died at the age of 12, almost 13, on Thanksgiving Day this year. We weren't even there. My family and I were visiting my sister and her first son when we heard the news. The person watching our dogs found him that morning and told us. My mom has watched this so many times since she found it and it's helping her heal.

  • WOW so many poor little pets, how do you do this-one death and i wallow in my room for a year!
