The Chappaquiddick Case is the title of a new courtoom drama by Donato Colucci. It concerns the 1969 accident, which prompted an international scandal, in which Senator Ted Kennedy drove his car over a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island causing the death of his
passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne. The media claimed that the powerful Kennedy, having attended a party and thought to be drunk at the time of the accident, was able to evade a trial for manslaughter.

  • Do you really think Kennedy would tell a lie?

  • Absolutely.

  • It's a shame that Ted Kennedy wasn't punished for this horrific crime.......and yes, it was a crime.

He's a piece of garbage from a white-trash family. Rich family, perhaps, but still a white-trash family.

  • Ted was drunk.

    He killed Mary Jo Kopechne.

The entire Kennedy family is scum.

  • @donatopresents Aren't you missing the Gleck Beck show. GO, my man, and continue to absorb great knowledge!

  • @donatopresents Marx is a boy scout when compared to tje likes of you and Glen and your brother Glen Beck.

  • Kennedy admitted to leaving the scene of the accident which carried a mandatory jail sentence (a short one). Boyle suspended it. It is illegal to suspend a mandatory sentence. What happens to you or me in that situation?

  • Don't believe he swam to Edgartown. He, Gargan, and Markham commandeered a small boat. The next day a kid reported that his boat had been used during the night and ended up in a different place from where he had left it. Also, people on a luxury boat saw three men in a small boat cross the channel around 2AM.

  • Yes. He could have brought in the fire dept. which had a scuba diver.

  • "Hypocrisy"? Thank goodness there's at least one conservative news outlet. All the rest are progressive (socialist).

  • The Kennedys are the Jukes Family (Google it, Estabrook's Study) of American politics.

  • "Back of the bus"? You're playing the race card.

  • Ho hum.
