Kennedy admitted to leaving the scene of the accident which carried a mandatory jail sentence (a short one). Boyle suspended it. It is illegal to suspend a mandatory sentence. What happens to you or me in that situation?

Don't believe he swam to Edgartown. He, Gargan, and Markham commandeered a small boat. The next day a kid reported that his boat had been used during the night and ended up in a different place from where he had left it. Also, people on a luxury boat saw three men in a small boat cross the channel around 2AM.
