Rosetta's beautiful interpretation of this song...

( no copyright infringement intended - and if you like the music I warmly suggest you listen to the band's orginal stuff... )

  • i cant stop listening to this song. its just an amazing cover of an amazing song. thanks for uploading it so i can share it with friends!

  • @crushingtowers my pleasure ;-)

  • This is an awesome cover.

Just curious which cd this song came off of, because I recently bought TGS and Wake/Lift and love them. I would definately be keen to buy more of their material, but I didn't know there was more!

  • This song was posted on the band's myspace page and is due to appear on a split cd with Year of No Light and East of the Wall, so you won't find it on cd yet (I had to search the 'torrent universe' to get hold of it and post it here).

Anyway, in 2007 they published a split with Balboa, called 'Project Mrcury' - if you oved TGS, you'll like these songs too (search youtube for the instrumental song "TMA-1" and you'll see what I mean... ;-)

  • sorry for the spelling mistakes: the split is called 'Project Mercury'

  • It's not Armine on the clean vocals. it's actually the bass player.

  • Man..last words of the song, purely haunting.

  • absolutely amazing cover. thank you so much for sharing...

  • Never heard the original, but this version is just... addicting!

  • just like The Cure - Homesick WTF?

  • The vocals should be more exposed. Though I know the original version of "Homesick" here I don't understand a word. Too noisy, even many of "forest" black metal bands have clearer sound. Anyway, rock on, every kind of expression is welcome until it is sincere and original.

  • Lovely cover instrumentally and well sung by the lead vocalist, but Armine's growling backing vocals feel superfluous and out of place this time around.

  • Woke up at 1 am to listen this, can't sleep. This music really makes me feel awake and I can see so much things that are wrong in my life. The background voice is almost like hearing my own soul shouting at me something like "wake up, what the heck are you doing in your life! ". Rosetta music is for people that are really not content and didn't find yet salvation in their life.
