  • I know you're trying to fit everything in the screen, but I wouldn't be cleaning the heatsink over the rest of the computer. You're probably more careful than most. Using a plastic card cut in to a smaller piece can help spread it easier as well. What size hard drive is in yours? I hear 320 is the max supported and wondering if a 500GB would be compatable (2.5 SATAII 500GB 7200 HDD).

  • @TWELVEGAUGEDAVE870 Im not sure, i am on the way to work right now but when im off ill let you know what will work inside it. i recall i had the stock 160 GB disk. It is a MSI wind U100 correct?

  • Remove ur ram if you have any .. LOOOL!

  • Nice video :)

  • @cookaacoo I have a MSI Wind L1350 with the N450 1.6GHz Atom processor- it's almost the same as a U100. It has the stock 160GB hdd but some are sold with 320GB hdd's. The ram has been upgraded to 2 gigs however. I've only seen "upgrading videos" that put in 320 hard drives rather than 500GB so I'm not sure if it's compatible. Any input would be appreciated. In all honesty, 320Gb would be enough for a netbook though. I think as long as they're the same standard dimensions, it should work. Thanks

  • @sk8forlove22 MSI released a new BIOS 1.09 which allows overclocking with Fn-F10 up to 1.98GHz on the atom's processor- you can find the official BIOS update on their site. Make sure you back-up everything important on another hard drive or dvds. electricvagabond DOTcom/2008/10/msi-wind-bios-109-update-overclock-and.html That's a good how-to on updating the Wind's BIOS. Use the links on Step 2 at your own risk- I haven't tried them. I'd rather use MSI's Live Update link. Good Luck.

  • @cookaacoo how do i do that overclock it

  • @sk8forlove22 You can overclock it using MSI drivers to make it 2.0 Ghz

  • @cookaacoo is there anyway of uping the cpu to make it better

  • @sk8forlove22 No the Cpu is soldered onto the motherboard.
