LAPD & THE Choking woman @ Venice Beach 7am

The person cannot speak or cry out, or has great difficulty and limited ability to do so.
Breathing, if possible, is labored, producing gasping or wheezing.
The person has a violent and largely involuntary cough, gurgle, or vomiting noise, though more serious choking victims will have a limited (if any) ability to produce these symptoms since they require at least some air movement.
The person desperately clutches his or her throat or mouth, or attempts to induce vomiting by putting their fingers down their throat.
If breathing is not restored, the person's face turns blue (cyanosis) from lack of oxygen.
The person does any or all of the above, and if breathing is not restored, then becomes unconscious.

I think she was some druggie wanting attention. Look where she's at - hanging out at Venice Beach with homeless people. Most likely she's on something. Then she says she has asthma after the cops ask her. The Heimlich is not what you use on asthma attacks.

And then she was pressing that inhaler like she was mashing buttons at Street Fighter. She's a druggie and an attention whore.

As a paramedic all I can say is half of these comments are moronic and everyone on this scene was equally dumb.. And food in the esophagus cannot choke you. It's your trachea that goes to your lungs, jeez people.

Also, YOU CAN ACTUALLY TALK IF CHOKING DEPENDING UPON WHERE THE FOOD IS LODGED IN THE ESOPHAGUS YOU PATHETIC PIECE OF SHIT! It feels as if you are drowning even though you're getting a small amt of air! Asthma shared the hell out of me after it returned after having had it as a child then it came back as an adult! if the ambulance was 3mins later, I'd have died when it returned as adult!
