Swingers

Film 111: Swingers is about a group of guys in L.A. who are not really big swingers. They are mostly struggling actors and struggling to get dates. Mike has just buzzed in his friend Rob, who's come to check up on him. Mike has been in a funk, holed up in his apartment for days. He moons over pictures of his ex-girlfriend. It was a six-year relationship, and they've been broken up for six months. After the breakup, Mike moved from New York to L.A. and has been trying to get his career as an actor/comedian going, but both his career and personal life are not really happening. He's at the bottom of his depression. Rob has even less to be happy about, but right now he has a better perspective on life.
