@njmudpuppy Momma thanks you! My two oldest cats (13 yrs ago they were feral kittens) enjoy daily supervised walks outdoors. They usually respond to commands- in part they are supervised because I do not want them going after birds(also I don't want to lose them!)As for Momma- I don't know how she got her hunting prowess- I believe she was one of three kittens "dumped" spring 2009(the other two were captured and homed immediately.)HUMANS are the cause of the feral cat problem.

@orangecat759 NOOOOOOOOOOOO I have a cat myself..... I have had 2 cats, both of them were adopted stray kittens. My first cat lived to be 18. BOTH my cats were allowed outside only under my supervision and were trained to return indoors ON COMMAND!... It takes a lot of LOVE and effort to train a cat....... I mis-read what you wrote..... Momma is safe from me......

Not sure what comment you read from me but I am for TNR and always tell people that neutered cats protect their territory... Never allow newbies to come in. I am WITH this organization.

@sweetvegan74 neutered cats DO NOT let new cats come into their area! they protect their food source.when my neighbors and I maintained a family group of six feral spayed or neutered cats, we had very few new feral cats. the largest male would reliably run them off. that family of cats is gone- now it seems we have a new feral or two every week. (some of the new ferals are spayed and neutered- but we can't keep up with all of them.

video is very good. wish forgotten cats operated in NJ.

@njmudpuppy WHAT! You are going to come into my house to shoot Momma??? You hate all cats, even indoor domesticated cats? Momma hasn't killed anything in months-other than the occasional fragile object on the kitchen table!!!The "FUCKING" wildlife is out of danger- that isn't good enough for you?Meanwhile, the threat to kill cat is making me crap my pants!Gotta check to see if I have enough ammunition! KILLING CATS IN NJ IS ILLEGAL!!!Meanwhile Bushy Tail, the hated big feral male has beenhunting

@njmudpuppy okay big man. i would rather watch the video and listen to the music associated with this site, but-#1eradicate a "colony of feral cats" in my neighborhood, the neighbors would be up your ass#2ILLEGAL to kill cats in nj#3 80% of the population does not approve of killing cats-even to save "FUCKING" wildlife#4Momma-a former feral-was quite the hunter. her known kills included a groundhog and a turkey.good thing Momma is indoors.that probably did more good for wildlife thanyoueverdid.

@orangecat759 Dont take my words out of context sweetheart........"...........
no right to exist at the expense of the lives of INDIGENOUS NATIVE FUCKING WILDLIFE!!!!!! " .............. YES, I AM the judge! After eradicating a large colony of feral cats I WATCHED, as in; I observed with my own fucking eyes, the populations of squirrels, rabbits, ground nesting birds, and garter snakes rebound to normal levels. Bait and shoot is FAR more effective than trap neuter and release.....
Rabbits breed over and over because most do not live past 9 months being a prey species. predator animals are not suppose to breed that much. cat overpopulation will not take care of itself! I am in rescue and know this first hand. You live in a fantasy world my friend. It's people like you with fake reasoning about spaying and neutering is why there are too many cats out there.

S/N IS does work. Come to my area. Neutered cats do not let any new cats in the area. Unneutered cats WANT more cats to come so they can breed. You must read those warrior books/ these cats should not be allowed to breed. The problem is ignorant people who hippie-tize everything thinking live and let live. Go to a shelter and see the hundreds of feral cats being put down.. oh that's natural? Pleeze.
