  • what is your setup? esc, prop, lipos, motors?

  • honda jet....awesome! the real jet is the bomb!

  • Hi again. Ok Here goes....

Mine pulled just over 420 watts per motor which was about 850-900 watts aprox static thrust. If you are using 1400 kv motors then you may need to keep to 3 cell lipo's to keep the rpm around 15000 be careful to keep note of the amps because that could be quite high at lower voltages but 60amp ESC's are good. I used 4 cell Lipo's in mine with 1100KV outrunners which gave me a max RPM around 12000 (tested in reality) this pulled about 34 amps per motor.

  • oh btw.. i am flying on a grass runway, do you think this will be an issue with my runway speed? I have retracts on mine as well.

  • Okay, I haven't flown mine yet but my weight is about of 4.5kg as well without the lipos. I will be using (2) 1400kv outrunner motors with 60a esc's and trying to decide on the best battery combo right now.. does your 3 blade prop give more thrust and do you recommend a larger prop such as 9x6,9x7, or even a 10x6 if it can fit, or stick with the 8x6? last question, is your lipo 11..1,14.8, 18.5 v or what? Is the 850watts for each motor or collectively?

  • Hi, yes I used 8" X 6" Three Bladed props. I though these looked better than Two bladed ones. My Honda was a little on the heavy side because I had retracts and quite large motors. Like I said above the flying weight is about 4KG. The elevator was certainly less responsive at slower speeds but these planes like to be flown quite fast anyway becaused of the comparitively narrow wings. Just be careful on take off and make sure you have plenty of speed before lifting the nose up.

  • I have just purchased one as well.. What do you mean by and 8"6" tripple bladed prop? is yours a 3-blade prop (8x6)? Also what is your approximate flying weight ? Any problems with the elevator ?

  • LOL... nice pilot.

  • Awesome plane. I have one too, and will be assembling it this winter.

Great job flying it! Lots of great pix of the sky! Occasionally I could see your plane flying, and loved it. Your camera operator needs more practice, but the music was great.

  • WHERE YOU BUY THIS AIRPLANE
