Anchor Bay's DVDO Edge offers smart switching, video scaling, picture controls and more. With 6 HDMI ports, 2 component video inputs, an HDMI output, with a separate audio-only HDMI output, more than 30 setup and test patterns, prioritized input switching, and much more, this gadget is a prime candidate for your new media center hub. Watch the video to find out if Robert Heron is bolting this thing to his TV stand.

  • @FlimFlamPowder ok im not sure who to believe now

  • @kunstigomelett It has a game mode that is designed to negate that lag. Nothing is absolute, but it will help.

  • Great Review! One thing you guys forgot to point out that may be beneficial to those that have an AVR with good video processing is the advanced audio synching capabilities and the 200 millisecond adjustable audio delay. I have a pretty decent Onkyo receiver, but the extra video processing time cause a slight video delay which is very apparent, the Edge has an auto-synching function and that adjustable delay in case you still have problems.

  • so if i have scaling-related gaming lag on my xbox 360, this will fix it completely?

  • Edge Only Has 1 HDMI Output, I Need 2. Does Splitting The Out Cause Any Problems

  • @Marlon1217 The PS3 may have (should have) an option in a set-up menu where you can select your video output resolution. Other wise, I'd try getting in touch with an Anchor Bay rep. There's a dealer locator on their web site.

  • I have a tv that can only do 1080i and 480. I have a ps3 and if the game doesnt support 1080i it downscales right down to 480p.

Will this device solve my problem??
