FLAWLESS

the stage presence on these guys is priceless. This is something I've rarely seen elsewhere- they move together but it's not "dancing" per se. just the subtle effect of everyone moving forward at the same time can be really compelling to the audience. pure brilliance.

Were they opening for Yanni?

Wow, someone actually had Elliot as their favorite? I'm not harping, he was just so... quiet & in the background.

They just released a brand new recording in October called "Bang." It's an album of mostly originals. "Hard Time" and "A-Punk" are the only two covers. John K. Brown wrote "Shemibos." Steven Dorian wrote "Malibu Grand-Prix." George Baldi III wrote "No Pressure." Jeff wrote "Too Much" and "The Shortest Path." Everything else was written by Scott Leonard.

Thanks Zandl, I found out on the Rockapella Facebook page :)
We never got a CD out of the last lineup, sadly.

@FFMmarco This is an original by Scott Leonard, which is what nearly half of the content in their concerts are nowadays.

I know about Barry...but where's Elliot? He was my favorite out the group. Did he leave too?

@mormonhobbit Barry left in 2002 and was replace by George Baldi III. Elliott left in 2004 and was replaced by John K. Brown. And most recently, Kevin left in 2009 and was replaced by Steven Dorian.

Is this song rockapella's own work or is it a cover? And if it is a cover who did the original?

It's an original. Scott Leonard wrote it. They've been using it as the opener for their shows for the past 4 years.
