In about 6 minutes clip, Dr. Spivak shows the entire intra abdominal procedure of removal of the Lap-Band system. This young patient had the band for couple years but developed pouch dilation and obstruction. The band had to be removed. So far Dr. Spivak removed about 100 bands of his 4000 Lap-Band patients due to complications, intolerance, or revisions to Bypass and Sleeve.
