People! The moment a cop gives you an illegal order, call 911 to report that you are being accosted by an irraational cop and that you're afraid he's going to try to kill you. This does 2 things: 1) It creates a record of the accosting 2) It makes certain that the police can't physically assault you and claim you were originally approached for another reason. The violent gangmembers behind badges can't make that 911 call go away.

It's not the cops job to show you the law and they don't have the autonomy to let you violate it when they get a complaint.
