Jim Johnson * Occoquan Coffee House 2006

It's April 2006, and Jim Johnson takes a break from his busy music schedule to relax at the Occoquan Coffee House. A very versatile and talented super picker, Jim is a member of a number of blugrass and roots music organizations, and his a favorite wherever he performs.

Jim is a well know local bluegrass picker. Linda's Coffee House of Occoquan is the friendliest place in Northern Virginia for musicians the past 10 years. I hosted the Saturday night Open Mic for about a year until other projects called. A lot of musicians come especially for the open jam sessions after the mic.

There's at least a dozen coffee house performances posted. In the summer its held outside on the patio.
