i am 6 foot 5 will i fit in the plane as a pilot ?

yes, it is very comfortable. I am 6'2" now and with the seat back you will fit perfectly. granted not much room for the backseaters, but two 6 foot 4 inch plus men can fly this baby almosy 1800 miles no prob!

What YOU dont seem to realize is that there are just as many if not more variants of MU-2 than there are mooney. The A, B, D, DP, E, F, G, J, K, L, M, N, P, S, Solitaire, and Marquise. NONE OF THEM have ANY airframe AD's. Can you say that no mooney has ever had an airframe AD? No. And if you can explain to me why you think one engine is always more reliable then two I think we're in for a pretty good laugh.

15000? You cant compare the MU-2 and 400 series Cessna with the mooney....two entirely different types of airplane. First of all, by definition, anything with two engines is more reliable than something with only one. As far as reliablility? MU-2 is the ONLY aircraft certified in the US that has NO airframe AD's. It is mechanically more reliable than any King Air. 220@15000? MU-2: 310-325TAS at 25,000. C414A 235TAS at 21000. Its a hot little single, but MU-2 and C414 leave it in the dust...

Mooneys arent as great as they come across. They go mad fast at 25000. But theyre not pressurized, which means that cruising at the altitudes that give you those speeds is very uncomfortable because you have to be sucking oxygen the whole time. Theyre also really small inside compared to other airplanes in its class. And for the money youll spend on a new one, you could buy a nice MU-2 and go twice as fast, or a 400 series cessna and have more reliability and more room.
