iPhone Problems!!! Help!!!

i need help. i have an unlocked iPhone. A friend told me to Restore it back to the old version which should appear once i plug it onto iTunes...so there was only an option that said "Restore and Update" as one button so I took my chances and did it...somebody help meeeeeee
Update: My iPhone has officially been fixed for a while now. Just took alot of Google sites til I found the right one =D I'll leave this video running simply because I am pretty sure there are some others out there who's going through this and hopefully this video helps with the help of everyone's comments.
