The 1880x which has two SAS expanders hooked up to it (each with 15x3TB drives) takes a *really* long time to POST due to the scanning and 0.4s staggered spinup setting for the 8 'internal' (nonexistent) ports and the 37 ports on each SAS expander. The ARC-1280 starts right after it very quickly (since it also staggers up at the same time).
Definitely interesting how the areca BIOS works perfectly with two models of areca many years (2 generations apart).
