Dad's 2011 PA Archery Buck

This footage is of the buck that my dad shot on 10/3/11 in PA. I noticed the buck in the field and got footage of him until I couldn't anymore due to treelimbs. The buck worked his way 150 yards down to my dad where I heard him shoot, watched the deer run with the arrow in him and crash. A cool experience. This was my dads first deer in 4 years and I am very proud of him and glad I got to get footage of the deer before it went to him. Congrats again Dad!!

Congrats! I live in pa too just the gamelands tho and never have any luck at all with any deer! Where about are you guys at? im in lebanon county!

Wow, not a good shot. At least you guys recovered. Congrats on a nice season start. You want to see my miss hap check out my 10 point from last season here on you tube. Good luck father and son for the rest of the season. This will be the first year I cannot hunt with my dad as he has been diagnosed with male breast cancer. Man it will be a change after 29 years hunting together. Enjoy guys and never let it go.

Thanks! Yeah I have no idea how he hit there but it must have caught the heart or an artery. Yeah my dad was diagnosed with diabetes a yr ago and he just hasn't been the same. Also may have to have cataract surgery. Glad to see he got a deer though. I was never more happy for him. A memory I will cherish forever n to me that's all that matters, not the size of the rack. Enjoy your season n goodluck! I'll have more videos to come.

My dad didn't shoot a deer in 4 years. Maybe this deer wouldn't be a trophy to you but any buck with a bow imo is a trophy and an accomplishment. Guess cause you don't shoot any "small" ones that makes you a great and mighty hunter...
