@Chryseis777 Heifetz is known for having a serious face whilst performing. but can you not hear all the emotion in this? don't let the visual aspect effect your judgment of Heifetz musicality. Close your eyes if you must because I'm afraid you have to listen a little harder and dig a little deeper to hear the liveliness Heifetz is displaying.

He's sucked up all the life from this masterpiece.The technique is absolutely remarkable but something important is missing.I don't think Paganini would agree with this "perfection"..He was a virtuoso with style and passionate with life.Heifetz is..."dead".
