Flora Callisaya, a microentrepreneur talks about her experience with Pro Mujer. Flora shares how microfinance has helped her business grow and helped her grow as an individual. Pro Mujer is an international microfinance and women's development network whose mission is to provide Latin America's poorest women with the means to build livelihoods for themselves and futures for their families through microfinance, business training, and healthcare support. It astounds and greatly pleases me that these types of organizations do so much more for so much less than the large aid organizations ... less overhead, fewer high paid foreign "administrators", less waste, more money actually reaching those who need it and use it well. Bravo.
