I was born and bred in Cork but left the country years ago. I'm amazed to see the streets, shops and bars have not changed a bit. Glad I dont live in Cork anymore. Cork is so conformity and dingy city, sorry to be honest. Invest more taxes to local government!

@fairhillnorrie Nah, I think your taking the south siders as all people from frankfield. They annoy me as well but I don't think there is a heart of cork. It's friendly all over the place apart from posh-ish areas. I wasn't complaining, i was just wondering.

@TWOMERCY because the north-side is the HEART of CORK... no snobbery up here, just ordinary working class people.friendly people.....and we have an advantage of having the most spectacular views of our beautiful city...... we stick together.... we talk to one another... we help one another... unlike the south-side pen pushers who don't even know their neighbours and live a life of seclusion when they finish their office jobs..... fancy house, fancy cars.... not for me....
