EDIT:I have recently learned that you can simply drag the exe file on the shortcut of dosbox to play the game so you won't need all of my instructions

Tutorial on how to play games in DOSBox. Hope this helps and feel free to comment if you have any troubles (no guarantees I will know though, I'm still a newbie at this.):3

  • it doesn't work. The problem is it is a windows 95 game which worked until Windows XP, and it doesn't work on 64-bit windows 7.

  • @albeebley That means it's a Windows program. Try running it in windows, with Win95 compatibility, instead,

  • @albeebley probably the program is not ment to play from dosbox, hope this helped (:

  • I got an error saying "This program cannot be run in DOS mode"

  • @sbtrackrunner Go to where Daggerfall's directory is (by default, it's named DAGGER) and type in "DAGGER" without quotes. If this doesn't help you, there's a highly detailed tutorial on how to get Daggerfall to work on modern operating systems.

I'll send that highly detailed tutorial to you in a Personal Message because I can't post links in the comments. If you still have questions, just ask.

  • @archy9752 How bout "Please run DAGGER.EXE to run Daggerfall"?

  • YES now i can play sim ant! *dances* ^.^

  • @Zgamer767 Well i downloaded another version of xcom,Ufo Enemy Unknown (same thing, other name) and when i unpacked the .zip it looked totally different I then dragged the .exe on dosbox and it worked right away.

  • @djoowtjuh
