The public info officer, stutters when he tries to say, "umm we can't use actual people so we gonna use cameras. The time statue is 120 days, only 2 departments currently even make it close to the deadline, scottsdale and mesa. Gotta make the money where they can.

Mesa P.D. Gotta be the dumbest cops out there, the new 9500i and 9500ci radar detectors are programable and give you a 1 mile alert just like on the loop 101. This with the ZR3 or ZR4. Cops ain't gotta chance. The state is hurting for money and with a budget short fall, got to get the money in to get the systems to pay for themselves.

Mesa Police Chief Gets Unfair Speed Camera Ticket
Mesa, Arizona police chief claims he is innocent after being accused by a camera of speeding. George Gascon was ticketed for speeding by Scottsdale's new freeway speed camera setup on August 7. Gascon claims he's innocent. Gascon says he doesn't know which of his daughters was driving the car.
