get them to do a lumbar puncture and check your brain pressure - I have this too - very atypical - but they think my iih is causing my 3rd nerve palsy.
I have this it's been two months now and it hasn't gotten any better. I went to doctor they did an MRI of brain and orbits, but everything came negative for tumors or aneurysms. Bloodwork came negative for myasthenia gravis, and negative for diabetes. I have an appointment for next month to see a neuro ophtolmologist so he could check it out. Meanwhile are there any suggestions to what cause this or is there anything I could do to help the droopy lid and double vision?
This is an excellent video lesson. Very clear and acurate information. For med students this is just perfect. I would of mentionned It's implication as a sign of temporal brain herniation (goes along with the pupil involvement being bad:p)
Thanks for this informative video, am affected by 3rd nerve palsy, anyone got any idea what the time scale is for recovery? 6 months and counting so far!
great lecture thanks so much
