Here some entire songs live from "Let's Rock Again !"
On the original DVD you only got pieces of the songs. Here are the fully edited versions ...
Another movie were I participated as editor. Directed by my friend Dick Rude.
This is "Harder they come", shot in several gigs across USA during Joe's last tour.

  • Joe Strummer- Punk Rock Warlord

Felt sad in the movie "Let It Rock" when Joe was handing out tickets on the street getting people to come to his show - like he couldnt even give them away.

The man should have been huge man, huge but he reallly did touch people in a way that words cant explain and Strummerville carries on his calling in the very way (i think) he would like.

This version is second only to Jimmy Cliff's and that's how Joe would want it.

Back to The Spliff Bunker now!

  • I say Joe fill in for Shane McGowen of the Pogues at the Palladium in NYC in the 90's. How fuckin' cool that was. Joe knew every lyric of the Pogues and sang as if were an Irishman himself. RIP brother!

  • JOE IS REGGAE

  • first time i have heard this version... best yet!!

  • Brilliant! Perfect version of this song.

  • Keep on fighting the "good" fight folks. You know whats right. RIP Joe.

  • i'm from 1961. i know jimmy cliffs version, later joe jacksons version. this version beats em all. if joe was still alive, he would have taken bruce springsteens place, haha.
